Seljord Camping and its bathing area is a centrally located, family-friendly natural gem. We offer cabins in various sizes, as well as pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. If you have a hammock, you can also find a spot to set up camp in the forest near the reception.
The campsite is located close to RV36, 400 meters from the E134, and حوالي 1 km from Seljord town centre. Despite its proximity to the roads, the campsite and beach are sheltered from traffic and are popular among both tourists and locals—especially those visiting the Sea Serpent Tower or the beach.
By the shoreline, you’ll also find smooth rock outcrops and piers, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing.
You can rent SUP boards, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, or pedal boats to get out on the water for recreation and fishing. A sand volleyball court, table tennis, and a large grill hut are available for everyone to use.
Seljord Camping is the perfect starting point for both short and longer trips in the local area and Telemark in general. Scenic walks in the forest and mountains, as well as cycling trips, motorcycle rides, or day trips by car—all can begin right from the campsite.
In Seljord town centre, you’ll find several cafés and restaurants, as well as three grocery stores—so there’s no need to go hungry.
If you need tips for excursions, we are more than happy to help—just ask at the reception!
