Strikkedesignar Irene Haugland er ein av Noregs største designarar innan strikk. Ho er inspirert av folkedrakt og tradisjon frå Telemark, og reknast som ein fargerik fornyar.
Irene Haugland har gjeve livsverket sitt til Vest-Telemark museum. I denne utstillinga på museet i Eidsborg kan du oppleve smakebitar frå hennar over 2000 design, heilt frå 1980-talet og fram til i dag.
Irene ynskjer å inspirere andre til å skape og glede seg over dei gode tinga i livet. Det er også målet med denne utstillinga.
«Ho som elskar fargar» vil vere tilgjengeleg i museets opningstider i sesongen 2026 og 2027.
I samband med utstillinga er det også lyst ut ein konkurranse: Design- og strikkekonkurranse
Opningsarrangementet i Eidsborg er lagt til laurdag 30. mai grunna stengt veg mellom Dalen og Eidsborg, men museet vil halde ope frå og med 1. mai. Velkomen!
