I museumbygget i Øyskogen (Fyresdal bygdemuseum) har Fyresdal bygdekvinnelag laga ei lita utstilling med tittelen NØYSEMD OG BEREDSKAP.
Noregs bygdekvinnelag har hatt nøysemd som nasjonalt satsingsområde dei siste to åra. I år er det beredskap som står på planen. Som kulturbærerar arbeider kvinnene i NBK med bevaring av gamle tradisjonar, teknikkar, med bruk av lokale råvare, men òg inkludering og korleis ein lagar levande bygder.
Utstillinga er ein lokal variant av denne satsinga og viser korleis ein kan:

Utstillinga opnar på bygdedagen 6. juni (open under arrangementet).
Den er elles open for pop-in publikum alle helgar i juli, fredag-sundag kl. 11-15.
