About

About

Telespinn was established in 2008 and is a small-scale spinning mill located on the old farm Midt-Svartdal. The farm is home to mohair goats that produce wool, which is spun into yarn of various qualities.

Telespinn works with many types of wool and has a particular focus on using fibers from traditional sheep breeds that graze in this landscape.

The mill is situated in a historic cultural landscape with a unique biodiversity. The area is known for its rich cultural history and living traditions. Telespinn is especially dedicated to preserving the distinctive textile traditions linked to women’s work, which are still kept alive today.

A visit to Telespinn is a deep dive into colors, traditions, and reflections on the connection between people, animals, and nature.
