Vaskarstrondi beach is a favorite lakeside for locals and for tourists alike.
Beach suitable for families with children
Vaskastrondi is located near the center of Vrådal and is ideal for families with children. The shallow sandy beach has a beautifully lawn. Several picnic tables have been set up where you can eat brought food, while the children enjoy themselves in the water or on the play equipment and in the swings.
Toilet at the tourist office
There is a toilet at the tourist office located 100 m from the beach.
Rental of canoes and boats
You can rent both canoes and boats at the Vrådal Tourist Information.
Parking
You will find a smaller paved parking lot just north of the built-up area and right by the beach. If this one already is occupied, there is plenty of parking at the grocery store “Joker” about 300m from the beach.
